As an artist & illustrator, I give flesh to ideas and emotions—creating images and characters that tell stories and capture the interest of kids and adults. As a visual designer, I help clients attract, engage, and inspire their audiences, crafting effective solutions to real-world problems. And to everything I bring strong abilities in conceptual development and communication, with sharp attention to detail.

My insatiable curiosity has led to a diverse skill set and experience in a range of media. On larger teams I focus on visual design and visual development, while bringing a holistic view of the process. For smaller collaborations, you'll find me contributing in a number of ways, from creative brainstorming through graphic art production. It gives me joy to excel in the roles that I play and to see ideas become reality as the whole team does their part.

Originally from northern Virginia, I came to Los Angeles to study Fine Arts at the University of Southern California. At USC I focused on painting and drawing, and was trained to approach my work with a strong concept and critical eye. These days, I'm constantly learning, from classical art instruction to the latest blogs on web design—cursed with a desire to create ever more excellent work.
